No cold calling, no self-generated leads. Just expert advice for a ready-made client base.
This is a founding role, not a junior or generalist one. We need someone who knows buy-to-let and investment lending inside out, with a clear path to leading a wider broker team as volume grows.

What you'll do
- Provide advice to buyers already committed to purchasing with us
- Take AIPs early and run each case end-to-end: application, underwriting, valuation, offer, completion
- Assess properties for lending risk before listing (construction type, EWS1, floor area, tenancy status) and flag the right route: standard, specialist, or cash-only
- Route declined or complex cases to specialist lenders rather than letting deals stall
- Brief our sales and valuation teams on current lending criteria so buyers arrive better qualified
- Keep case files and suitability records FCA-compliant
What you'll bring
- CeMAP qualified (essential)
- Deep, demonstrable buy-to-let experience. Non-standard construction, EWS1, HMO criteria, limited-company lending and specialist panels should all be second nature
- Existing specialist lender relationships are a strong plus
- Confidence owning a regulated function independently
- Calm, clear communication with clients through a long process
Pay
£60,000 to £80,000 base depending on BTL expertise, plus uncapped commission on every completed case: both the lender's procuration fee and any client advice fee, on top of base.
Strong performers should expect total earnings well past £100,000 once caseload is established.
