We are currently recruiting for Children's Residential Support Workers to work in our 3 bedded Children’s Home located in Syston, Leicestershire.
We are committed to delivering therapeutic care to children and young people to provide them with the best emotional and physical environment to live in. Children and young people residing at the home may have experienced significant trauma and may have specific learning, physical and/or emotional needs. We are looking for someone who has a passion delivering therapeutic care and making a difference to the lives of young people providing them with the best opportunities to enjoy successful futures.
Key Responsibilities:
- To work as part of a team to support young people in all aspects of their lives including planning activities, cooking, cleaning, supporting educational and health needs.
- To act as a positive role model and create positive relationships with young people where they can thrive
- To ensure the young people are effectively safeguarded at all times
- To support young people to develop their independence skills
- To deliver consistent high-quality care that meets the young people’s needs
- To work as part of a team on a rota basis covering 365 day per year
- On average the role requires staff to complete sleep in shifts per week which are paid in addition at an additional £60 per sleep.
Personal Requirements:
Previous experience and qualifications are not essential however would be beneficial, full training will be provided. You will also be required to work towards your Level 3 - 4 diploma if you do not currently hold this qualification.

A full driving licence is required for this position or working towards it.
