This role will join BGEN - one of the UK's largest multidisciplinary design and build contractors with over 100 years of industry experience. We support clients in the water, power & energy, pharmaceutical, nuclear and food and beverage industries to deliver next generation, value-added engineering solutions
What will you be doing?
This role supports the delivery of a strong Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) culture by managing safety records, systems, documentation, and compliance processes across projects. Responsibilities include supporting risk assessments, procedures, audits, inspections, and investigations to ensure work is delivered safely and in accordance with regulatory and company standards. The role gathers, analyses, and reports SHE data through dashboards and performance reports to drive continuous improvement. It also involves conducting site visits, safety observations, and delivering toolbox talks, coaching sessions, and awareness campaigns. Working closely with project teams, subcontractors, and SHE professionals, the role promotes best practice and high safety performance.
What You'll Bring
- An interest in Safety, Health & Environment and a desire to build a long-term career in the industry.
- Awareness of construction health and safety requirements, including CDM Regulations.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Confident communication skills and ability to work with a range of people.
- Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
