Lunch Chef – Join the Trancio Team
Part-Time | 4 Days per Week | 11.30am–4.30pm
We're looking for a passionate, hardworking Lunch Chef to join our growing independent Italian café and bakery.
Our lunchtime menu is intentionally simple, allowing us to focus on what matters most—quality, consistency and great customer service. We're looking for someone who takes pride in producing excellent food every time, not someone looking to cut corners.
This is a busy service, so you'll need to stay calm under pressure, multitask and keep standards high throughout the shift.
What we're looking for:
- Previous chef or kitchen experience is essential.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- A genuine passion for producing quality food.
- High standards of food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness.
- Someone who cleans as they go and takes pride in their workspace.
- Able to multitask during busy services.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Creative and innovative, with ideas for new specials and menu development.
- Reliable, punctual and able to work well as part of a close-knit team.
Hours
- Approximately 11.30am–4.30pm
- 4 days per week
- Flexibility is essential. You must be willing to cover holidays, sickness and occasional evening or additional daytime shifts when required.
