A family owned bakery business is in need of a Bakery Assistant to join her growing business, the role will suit a candidate with a "Can-Do" attitude and ready to grow his/her career to the next level.
The Production Process involves Oven / Baking / Mixing / Bagging / Slicing.
To be considered for this role candidates must be flexible within reason, reliable and available for an immediate start when required. Candidates should command a basic to good level of English speaking, reading and writing.
Position Requirements (Skills / Experience)
- Bakery experience preferred- but not a necessity
- Industrial Oven / Baking / Mixing experience preferred – however full training can be provided
The role involves the following physical requirements on a daily basis:
- Pushing, pulling and standing
- Manual dexterity in both hands and wrists
Responsibilities
- Assist in the production of baked goods in accordance with recipes and quality standards.
- Adhere to food safety regulations, including HACCP guidelines, to ensure product safety.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Follow instructions execute baking tasks accurately.
Job Types: Fixed term contract, Temp to perm
