Print Room Assistant / Print Finisher

About Us:
LWV Printworks is a nationwide print supplier to high-profile high street brands, as well as pub and restaurant operators. We produce and dispatch a large variety of bespoke printed POS (point of sale) items daily and are looking for motivated individuals to join our fast-paced production team.
Role Overview:
We are seeking energetic and enthusiastic candidates with print experience to work as part of a busy print and production team. This is a hands-on role involving a mix of print finishing, production, packing, and support duties. A willingness to learn and adapt across different areas of the print floor is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Large format table work including manual cutting and stitching
- Operating print finishing equipment, such as: Guillotine, VeloBlade digital cutting system, manual cutting of printed materials (posters, PVC banners, etc.) Stitching PVC banners using a Brother sewing machine
- Packing and preparing orders for dispatch
- General manual work, including some heavy lifting
- Assisting across various areas of the print and production team
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a print or production environment preferred
- Experience with print finishing equipment (including VeloBlade or similar cutting systems) is advantageous
- Forklift truck licence desirable (but not essential)
- Strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to learn new skills and take on varied tasks
Working Hours:
- Monday to Thursday: 9:00am – 5:00pm or 1:00pm – 9:00pm
- Friday: 9:00am – 5:00pm
