The Role
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and experienced supervisor who takes pride in their work and thrives in a fast-paced environment. This is a hands-on role where no two days are the same. Alongside making excellent coffee, you’ll also get stuck into the kitchen, preparing our fresh menu items such as:
- Breakfasts, bacon sandwiches, porridge & toast
- Our famous homemade sausage rolls
(Note: This role does not involve baking or cake-making.)
What You’ll Do
- Deliver outstanding customer service with a smile
- Prepare and serve quality espresso-based drinks
- Lead our team across all areas of the café
- Assist with kitchen cooking and food prep
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation
- Lead by example to guide and support team to ensure high quality service consistently
- Responsible for opening and closing of the store
What We’re Looking For
- Barista experience (preferred but not essential)
- Supervisory experience (around 3 years ideal)
- Reliability – must be able to work weekends and 7am starts (once fully trained I would love for this to only be every other weekend split with our current supervisor)
- Comfortable working independently and leading and motivating a small team
- Strong attention to detail and a genuine love of hospitality
