Housekeeping & Laundry Assistant
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Housekeeping & Laundry Assistant to join our team and help maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and laundry services within our care setting.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, good people skills, and take pride in delivering a high standard of work. A caring, professional, and reliable approach is essential, as you will be working within a resident-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the home
- Cleaning residents' rooms, communal areas, and facilities
- Washing, drying, ironing, and sorting residents' laundry
- Ensuring laundry is handled with care and returned to the correct residents
- Following infection control and health and safety procedures
- Working as part of a team to provide a clean, safe, and welcoming environment
Key Requirements:
- Previous housekeeping and/or laundry experience preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- High attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
- Reliable, professional, and compassionate attitude
Hours: 10 hours per week, including weekend working.
Location: On-site
Safeguarding Requirement:
All applicants will be required to obtain an Enhanced DBS Certificate in accordance with our Safeguarding Policy.
