Duties
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport parcels to residential and commercial addresses within assigned routes
- Load and unload parcels with care, including heavy lifting when necessary, ensuring accurate delivery of each item
- Verify delivery addresses and obtain signatures or proof of delivery as required
- Communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and dispatch teams to coordinate deliveries and resolve issues promptly
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections, maintenance checks, and report any mechanical concerns to ensure safety standards are maintained
- Follow all traffic laws and company policies to uphold safety on the road at all times
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, documentation, and reports for accountability and compliance purposes
Requirements
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role within logistics or courier services
- Valid Full UK driver’s license with a clean driving record; <PERSON> driver certification is highly desirable
- Experience with commercial driving vehicles and understanding of traffic regulations
- Ability to handle heavy lifting safely during loading and unloading processes
- Strong communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members
- Warehouse experience is a plus, demonstrating familiarity with handling parcels and inventory management
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to delivering excellent service in a fast-paced environment
- Immediate start after the security checks (1-2 days) completed
