The Role:
Due to further expansion we are looking to grow our team at our facilities in Jarrow - NE32 3QS.

The Job Role:
- Safely operate forklifts to transport goods, materials, and pallets within the warehouse & yard.
- Load and unload goods from vehicles, ensuring they are securely stored and organized in designated areas.
- Assist in managing inventory, performing regular checks to maintain accurate stock levels hgvlgvtraining.co.uk.
- Conduct safety checks of tools and maintain forklift equipment to ensure it is in proper working order, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Complete necessary paperwork, such as delivery notes and stock control forms, to maintain accurate records of goods handled
- Cleaning work areas, removing debris, hazards, and obstacles, and ensuring a safe working environment Indeed+2.
- Loading, unloading, moving, and organizing sheet & steel material and general stores.
- following supervisors’ directions, complying with health and safety regulations, and using personal protective equipment
The candidate:
- Must have relevant FLT training & licences.
- Conscientious with a keen eye for the smaller details.
- Punctual & a willingness to learn new skills.
- Able to work individually or within a small team.
- A relevant class 2 HGV licence is preferable but not essential.

Salary & working hours:
- Full Time - Permanent Position
- Monday to Thursday 7:30am – 4:00pm
- Friday 7:30am – 3:00pm
- £13.58 per hour - Pay rates negotiable dependant on experience.
- Regular overtime available at increased rates.
