Mobile Plant Fitter - based South East England (Brentford TW 8 Headquarters)
Join a Team at Delivers Excellence Every Day!
We’re looking for a reliable, hands-on person to join our Plant Maintenance Team. If you enjoy practical work, being part of a team, and want to work for a company that values its people, this could be the job for you.
We’re a family-owned business with over 75 years in construction and recycling. The Group includes Day Aggregates, Day Equestrian, Day Contracting and Day Glass Recycling. Each year we supply over 5 million tonnes of quarry products and a variety of services to the construction, waste, and water treatment sectors. Most of the products we sell are transported by rail directly from quarries into our depots, before going the ‘last mile’ on our lorries, and each year the Company recycles a million tonnes of construction and demolition waste and incinerator bottom ash. By minimising lorry miles, carbon dioxide emissions and congestion are also reduced. And with less waste going to landfill it isn’t just our lorries that are green!
Many of our employees have been with us for over 20 years, so doing things ‘The Day Way’ seems to work! Our people are at the heart of our values and what we do, and with over 700 employees from a dozen countries across our multiple sites (22) in the South of England, we offer excellent opportunities to people who are keen to be part of our success and share our Company values. We pride ourselves on the diversity of our workforce and providing high quality training in all aspects of a role, including a wide variety of recognised qualifications.
We’re known for our personal approach, dependability, and innovative solutions.
