Job Title: Full-Time Shop Manager
We are looking for an experienced, reliable, and motivated Shop Manager to lead the day-to-day running of our busy bakery.
As Shop Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the shop while delivering outstanding customer service. You will lead and support the team, manage staffing and rotas, oversee daily sales and cash handling, prepare timesheets, monitor stock levels, and ensure the bakery is presented to the highest standards at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operation of the bakery shop.
- Prepare staff rotas and weekly timesheets.
- Manage daily sales, cash handling, till reconciliation, and banking.
- Monitor stock levels and place orders where required.
- Ensure high standards of food hygiene, cleanliness, and shop presentation.
- Deliver excellent customer service and resolve customer queries professionally.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a retail or hospitality management/supervisory role (minimum 2 years preferred).
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Experience preparing staff rotas, timesheets, and managing day-to-day operations.
- Confident with cash handling, sales reporting, and basic administration.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and lead by example.
- Flexibility to work weekdays and weekends as required
