Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Manager to join our hospitality team in our newest site, in Marlesford.
Main duties include:
- To assist the General Manager in overseeing the front of house team the day to day café operation
- To act as a deputy in the absence of the General Manager, meaning take full responsibility and accountability for café & Farm Shop operation
- Maintaining service and hygiene standards throughout the café & Farm Shop shop
- To help ensure there is a happy and motivated FOH team and encouraging the Two Magpies Bakery core values
The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a solid background in food production and cafe/bakery operations, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee daily operations, support staff development, and ensure the highest standards of food safety and quality are maintained.

Ideal Requirements
- Proven management or supervisory experience within a restaurant or hospitality environment.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices within the hospitality industry.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Leadership qualities with a proactive approach to team development and problem-solving.
- Experience with hospitality management systems or point-of-sale (POS) software is advantageous.

Pay: £26,562.96-£30,700.00 per year
