About the role
Lincoln City Football Club is looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Porter to support our catering team during home matchdays and other events held at the stadium.
This is a fast-paced, practical role that is essential to the smooth running of our kitchen. You will help maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment while supporting chefs and other catering staff throughout each shift.
Key responsibilities
- Washing and sanitising crockery, cutlery, cookware and kitchen equipment.
- Keeping kitchen surfaces, floors, storage areas and washing-up stations clean and organised.
- Ensuring clean equipment and utensils are returned to the correct areas promptly.
- Assisting with basic food preparation when required.
- Receiving, moving and storing catering supplies safely.
- Removing waste and recycling in line with club procedures.
- Following food hygiene, health and safety, and allergen-control procedures.
- Supporting the wider catering team during busy matchday and event service.
- Reporting damaged equipment, hazards or hygiene concerns to the appropriate supervisor.
- Completing opening and closing cleaning duties as required.
About you
Previous experience in a kitchen or catering environment would be helpful but is not essential, as guidance and training can be provided. More importantly, you should:
- Be reliable, punctual and prepared to work hard.
- Work well as part of a team.
- Be able to remain organised in a busy environment.
- Have a positive and helpful attitude.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and personal hygiene.
- Be comfortable completing physical tasks and standing for extended periods.
- Be available for home matchdays and other stadium events, including evenings and weekends.

Pay: £12.71-£13.50 per hour
