We are looking for a reliable and well-organised Procurement Administrator to join our small team in a varied role supporting the day-to-day operations of the business.
This is a hands-on administrative role covering procurement support, general office administration and finance support. You will also help in the stores when needed, such as picking parts for engineer work packs, receipting goods and helping to keep stock records accurate and up to date.
The role would suit someone with previous administration experience who is looking for a varied position within a small business and is happy to support across several areas when needed. Full training will be provided on our systems and processes, including forklift truck (FLT) training if required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Raising purchase orders and monitoring deliveries
- Liaising with suppliers and supporting general procurement administration
- Preparing engineer work packs and keeping system records up to date
- Booking goods in and helping keep stock records accurate
- Picking parts for work packs, putting stock away and carrying out occasional stock checks
- Supporting with invoicing and other general office administration
- Assisting with routine vehicle and office maintenance administration
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Has previous administration experience, ideally within a busy office or operational environment
- Is organised, reliable and able to manage day-to-day tasks effectively
- Can communicate clearly and politely with colleagues, suppliers and customers
- Is confident using computers and able to work across different systems accurately
- Has a practical approach and is comfortable supporting both office-based and hands-on operational tasks
- Previous experience in procurement related administration would be advantageous, but is not essential
