Samba provides fun and vibrant football classes, we are looking for coaches across a host of venues, to Join our dynamic team as a Football Coach and ignite passion for the sport while fostering teamwork, discipline, and skill development among Children aged 4-12years. In this role, you will lead our aged appropriate structured training sessions, motivating children to reach their full potential, and promote a positive sporting environment. As we take our children on a skill journey called road to Rio, your energy an will inspire players to excel both on and off the field, creating memorable experiences and lifelong skills. Duties
- Deliver comprehensive training sessions focused on technical skills, understanding.
- Lead team practices, ensuring activities are fun and challenging, safe, and aligned with players’ development levels.
- Develop game strategies and provide tactical guidance during matches to maximize team performance.
- Foster a positive team culture by encouraging sportsmanship, respect, and collaboration among players.
- Monitor individual progress, provide constructive feedback, and tailor coaching techniques to meet diverse needs.
- Communicate with parents and staff effectively whilst on site .
- Maintain equipment, ensure safety protocols are followed, and keep accurate records of player attendance and progress.
Skills
- Proven sports coaching experience with children and a strong understanding of football techniques and tactics (Preferred but not mandatory) .
- Excellent teaching abilities to communicate complex concepts clearly and motivate learners of younger ages.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire teamwork, discipline, and confidence.
- Ability to assess player skills accurately and adapt coaching methods accordingly.
- Knowledge of safety standards related to sports training and equipment use.
- Effective communication skills for interacting with players, parents, officials, and colleagues.
- Enthusiasm for sports and sports coaching, must be able to maintain patience.
Qualifications
- FA Level 1
- Enhanced DBS check
Venue located in Lewisham, Bromley, Beckenham and Greenwich, potential hours on Saturday, Sunday and Tuesday. Flexible hours
Greenwich -Tuesday -6-8pm
Bromley - Saturday - 9:30-11:30am
Beckenham -Saturday -3-5pm
Lewisham - Sunday 9:30-12:30pm
Pay: £15.00-£18.00 per hour
