Our Client is looking for an experienced SHEQ Manager to join our team in Droitwich, supporting their Transport operations and group activities
About Us
They are an expanding business providing tanker services to the utilities sector.
The Role
As SHEQ Manager, you will lead and develop all aspects of their Safety, Health, Environmental, and Quality systems and culture. This role is essential in ensuring that all operational and site-based teams are working safely, sustainably, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement and manage SHEQ policies, procedures and strategies across the business.
- Conduct audits, inspections, risk assessments and incident investigations.
- Ensure full compliance with relevant legislation and industry standards.
- Lead SHEQ training and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies on SHEQ matters.
- Support operational teams in all parts of the company
About You
- Proven experience in a similar SHEQ role within construction, highways, utilities, or environmental services.
- NEBOSH Certification.
- Tech IOSH or Cert IOSH membership (desirable)
- Knowledge of ISO standards (45001, 14001, 9001).
- National Highways Sector Scheme knowledge (desirable)
- Scheme Delivery Framework (SDF) knowledge (desirable)
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- A proactive, hands-on approach and a genuine commitment to best practice.
