Overview
Packer / dispatch in a busy air rifle factory.
Job Role:
- Pack air rifles coming from production and related products to ensure they meet quality control standards as a final check before dispatch.
- Follow instructions provided to pack the air rifles accurately in accordance with company procedures.
- Carry out visual quality checks to identify defects
- Ensure all orders are packed correctly with the appropriate documentation and accessories.
- Complete sub-assemblies required for each rifle family
- Monitoring stock control of items directly related to packing
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area.
- Ensure health & safety procedures are followed when working with firearms.
- Work efficiently to meet daily dispatch targets.
- Overtime may be required during busier times
Essential Requirements:
- Previous packing experience is required
- Physically fit and capable of standing for long periods
- Good attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high quality standards.
- Able to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
- Candidate must be reliable and punctual
- Must be computer literate
Hours:
Monday - Thursday 8am - 5pm and Friday 8am - 12:45pm
Overtime is available (weekdays and some weekends)
Initial 12 week probationary period with pay review once passed.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £12.71 per hour
