Bank Cleaning Operative – Self-Employed, Zero-Hours
The Pink Cloth Company is looking for reliable Bank Cleaning Operatives to provide flexible cover across a range of locations.
This is a self-employed, zero-hours position, meaning work will be offered based on availability and business needs, with no guaranteed minimum number of hours.
We welcome applications from both:
- Drivers with access to their own vehicle who are happy to use it for work
- Walkers who can reliably travel to and between the locations offered to them
Your duties may include:
- Cleaning homes, offices and other premises
- Vacuuming, sweeping, mopping and dusting
- Cleaning kitchens, bathrooms and communal areas
- Emptying bins and disposing of waste correctly
- Using cleaning products and equipment safely
- Following health and safety procedures
- Reporting any damage, hazards or maintenance concerns
What we are looking for:
- Previous cleaning experience is preferred but not essential
- Reliability and good timekeeping
- A high standard of cleanliness and attention to detail
- The ability to work independently
- A friendly, professional and respectful approach
- Flexibility to provide cover, sometimes at short notice
- The ability to travel reliably to the locations offered
Drivers must hold a full UK driving licence, have access to a suitable vehicle and hold the appropriate business-use insurance.
As this is a self-employed position, successful applicants will be responsible for managing their own tax and National Insurance and may be required to submit invoices for completed work.
