Job Role: Group Meetings & Events Sales Executive
Role Overview :
As Group M&E Sales Executive, you will be actively involved with the Meetings & Events
Sales Teams to actively convert customer enquiries into confirmed sales for all hotels within the portfolio.
Key Job Responsibilities
- To actively convert customer enquiries into confirmed sales to develop and repeat business for all hotels within the portfolio contributing to the profitability of the OYO Hospitality standards.
- To work with other members in the team to develop successful customer partnerships.
- To deliver the brand standards of outstanding customer service whilst ensuring a clear and effective line of communication is maintained with the on-property hotel teams.
- To produce written quotations and confirmations for clients.
- Ensure accurate and up to date customer records are maintained.
- Identify customer needs and provide solutions to match them.
- Build working relationships with field sales, regional and on property revenue managers.
- To handle all administrative tasks in an efficient and timely manner.
- Respond positively to sales opportunities to maximize revenue.
- Identify new accounts and contacts to develop sales leads.
- To attend client events when appropriate and develop relationships with field sales.
- To obtain full knowledge of Competitor's products to understand the marketplace for each location.
- To cross sell other OYO Hospitality properties.
- Assist in additional projects and departmental tasks as required.
- To attend familiarization visits with sales and client events when appropriate
- To exceed Touchstone and mystery shopper objectives for telephone, email
- To ensure that Event 500 is maintained daily with correct revenues and client requirements at all times
- Controlling accuracy of Revenue
Key Performance Metrics
- Budget Revenue targets for accommodation, conference, banqueting and room hire revenue lines and cancellation charges
- Conversion objectives are achieved
- Enquiry Handling, Touchstone and mystery shopper results
