Foreperson required for latex foam backing- successful candidate will have experience of working with similar machinery, a mature attitude and be quick to learn. They will be expected to learn all aspects of running the latex coating machines, including mixing latex , sewing on fabrics, batching and quality control as well as helping loading and unloading trucks and other duties as required around the factory. .
The successful candidate must be mechanically minded and be intelligent and have studied physics and chemistry at school or college.
The job will involve some heavy lifting (up to 60-70 kilos aided).
12 hours days Monday- Friday 6am -6pm (Early finish 4pm Friday).
The willingness to work at least half days every Saturday or Sunday when required at overtime rates is essential.
