Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify mechanical issues using schematics and technical manuals
- Perform repairs and maintenance on engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension systems, and other automotive components
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques to complete repairs efficiently
- Follow detailed schematics and mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot complex equipment problems accurately
- Assist with heavy lifting tasks safely to handle large parts or equipment during repair procedures
- Maintain detailed service records, update maintenance logs, and ensure all work complies with safety standards
Qualifications
- Proven experience working with schematics, mechanical systems, and automotive repair techniques
- Strong mechanical knowledge of vehicle components and systems
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly tools
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during repairs or maintenance tasks
- Knowledge of maintenance procedures for various automotive equipment and machinery
- Physical stamina for long periods of standing, bending, and lifting during busy workdays

Pay: £35,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
