Responsibilities
- Safely operate your own van to complete scheduled deliveries across designated routes
- Load and unload goods, often requiring heavy lifting and physical effort
- Ensure all deliveries are made accurately and on time, adhering to company standards and customer expectations
- Communicate effectively with dispatch teams and customers regarding delivery statuses or issues
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections to maintain safety and compliance with traffic laws and regulations
- Maintain detailed records of deliveries, mileage, and vehicle maintenance needs
- Follow all safety protocols and driving regulations to ensure personal and cargo security
Skills
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar driving role
- Valid <PERSON> driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Commercial driving experience preferred, with knowledge of traffic laws and safety procedures
- Strong communication skills for interacting professionally with clients and team members
- Warehouse experience helpful for understanding loading/unloading processes
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when handling packages or cargo
- Self-motivated with excellent time management skills to meet delivery deadlines
