Overview
We are seeking a motivated and experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to join our dynamic logistics team. We deliver a wide range of goods so experience in loading plant/vehicles or using a HIAB would be advantages but not critical as training can be arranged. Responsibilities
- Operate HGV Class 2 vehicles safely and efficiently, adhering to all road safety regulations and company policies
- No Nights out, Monday-Friday with the occasional early start or late finish
- Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in optimal condition before each journey
- Deliver goods using cheese wedge lorry or loader crane, ensuring secure loading and unloading procedures
- Communicate professionally with dispatchers, customers, and team members regarding delivery statuses or any issues encountered
- Complete all necessary documentation accurately, including delivery logs and vehicle inspection reports
- Maintain a high standard of safety and professionalism throughout all driving activities
Qualifications
- Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) license
- Valid CPC and digital Tachograph card
- Knowledge of traffic laws, safety regulations, and best practices for commercial driving
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude

Pay: £15.00-£17.00 per hour
