Functional Assessor (PIP/WCA)
Location: Guildford
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 (Depending on location) (rising by £1,000 at 6/12 months - Performance based)

Full Time – Hybrid - (Mon - Fri, 9-5)
Part time available (3/4 days)
Become a Functional Assessor, supporting individuals applying for benefits doing either Work Capability Assessments (WCA) or Personal Independent Payment (PIP) on behalf of the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP).
Your Role:
- Assessing claimants health & daily living via phone and face-to-face appointments for capability to work and work related activities or daily living and mobility.
- Reviewing medical evidence & compiling detailed reports for the DWP
- Using your clinical expertise in a role that values quality, not speed

Essential Criteria:
- Registered Nurse, OT, Physio's, Pharmacist's or Paramedics
- Minimum 1-year post-registration experience in an adult setting
- NMC/HCPC registered
- Strong written and verbal clinical communication skills.
- Confident communicator & report writer – IT literate
- Ability to work independently and manage a clinical caseload efficiently.
- Experience working with complex health conditions
