At Storefast Solutions we blend and pack a range of products for the drinks industry, and we're looking to recruit a Multi Skilled Operative with plenty of counterbalance forklift experience. Below is the job description; the role includes extensive use of our stock management system (for goods-in, picking, stock counting etc), forklift driving, plus flexibility to work in our blending and finished goods teams when required.
Working Hours will consist of: 2pm-11pm, 5 shifts per week, Monday to Friday
Job Description
- This role will be flexible across our blending team and our manufacturing line team (canning) - both departments require counterbalance forklift support, and depending on how you develop you could become dedicated to the blending or canning line team - completing the blending or working on the canning line, not just forklifting.
- Ensure Company procedures regarding goods-in and goods-out movements, picking, labelling and storage are followed & optimised.
- Be responsible for ensuring and monitoring that all paperwork and labelling is completed accurately and correctly, inclusive of the double-check procedure.
- Ensure that all stock is correctly identified and located both in the warehouse and on the stock management system.
- Work efficiently to maximise throughput during your shift.
- Leave the warehouse areas and equipment in a fit state.
- Comply with company policies, at all times.
- Comply with internal and customer audit requirements.
- Ensure all allergens are correctly labelled and positioned.
- Work to the shift patterns agreed and carry out ad-hoc duties as instructed from time to time by the Management Team.
- Maintain forklift trucks & reach trucks in line with H&S policies and procedures
Additional Information
- This role may require lifting, carrying and manual handling.
- Overtime, weekend or shift work may be required depending on business needs.
- Training will be provided for all procedures, equipment and quality standards.

Pay: £30,000.00 per year
