Job Overview
We are seeking a Part-time Sales Assistant to join our retail team. This role involves engaging with customers, providing excellent service, and supporting the store’s merchandising efforts. The ideal candidate will be organised, communicative, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. This is a part-time position requiring availability for evenings and weekends, along with ideally one weekday daytime shift
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs
- Support visual merchandising by maintaining attractive displays in line with company standards
- Operate the till efficiently, handling transactions accurately and courteously
- Manage stock levels, restock shelves, and organise products for easy access
- Maintain a clean and organised sales floor at all times
- Assist in organising promotional events or sales campaigns as required
Skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions and stock counts
- Organised with good attention to detail
