Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in various commercial settings. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The Cleaner will ensure that all areas are kept to the highest standards of cleanliness, contributing to a safe and pleasant environment for all.
Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming.
- Clean and sanitise restrooms, kitchens, and other communal areas.
- Maintain cleanliness of floors, walls, windows, and furniture.
- Dispose of waste materials in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
- Follow established cleaning schedules and protocols to ensure consistency in service delivery.
- Use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and effectively.
- Assist with deep cleaning tasks as required.
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning is highly desirable.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Good time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Knowledge of cleaning products, techniques, and equipment.
- Excellent communication skills for reporting issues and collaborating with team members.
- A proactive approach towards problem-solving and maintaining a clean environment.
