Responsibilities
- Administering and recording medication.
- Deliver personalized care to residents, assisting with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and mobility, while promoting independence.
- Supervise and support junior care staff, ensuring the delivery of consistent, compassionate care aligned with individual care plans.
- Develop, review, and update care plans in collaboration with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to meet evolving needs.
- Lead by example in maintaining high standards of hygiene, safety, and dignity within the care environment.
- Communicate effectively with residents, their families, and team members to ensure clear understanding of care requirements and preferences.
- Use IT systems to document resident progress, update records accurately, and manage schedules efficiently.
- Assist with driving responsibilities for residents when necessary, supporting outings or appointments safely and responsibly.
Requirements
- Proven experience working in a care home environment with a focus on senior care.
- Supervising or leadership experience within a healthcare or social care setting.
- Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with residents, families, and team members.
- Ability to develop and follow detailed care plans tailored to individual needs.
- Valid driving license and experience with driving residents or staff when required.
- Knowledge of IT systems used for documentation and record keeping in healthcare settings.
- A caring attitude combined with the ability to supervise staff confidently while maintaining professionalism.

Pay: £13.20-£13.40 per hour
