Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble a variety of pasty fillings using fresh ingredients and precise measurements
- Roll out pastry dough to the correct thickness and shape each pasty consistently
- Bake pasties to perfection, monitoring oven temperatures and baking times
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace in compliance with food safety standards
- Follow recipes and production guidelines to ensure quality control across all products
- Assist with inventory management by rotating stock and notifying supervisors of supply needs
- Support team members during busy periods to ensure timely production and customer satisfaction
Skills
- Experience in food production, food preparation, or baking is highly desirable
- Strong understanding of cooking techniques and kitchen safety protocols
- Previous kitchen experience demonstrating reliability and teamwork
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Culinary experience that showcases creativity and passion for baking
- Familiarity with food handling regulations and hygiene practices
