We are seeking a motivated and reliable Part-Time Delivery Driver to join our dynamic team! There is a slowdown at the beginning of the year (January/February/March), and fewer hours are available during that period. I would like this to be taken into consideration.
September / October / November – HIGH ORDER VOLUME
Hours: 40+ per week (sometimes up to 55 hours)
January / February – LOW ORDER VOLUME
Hours: 0–10 per week
Warehouse and depot location: Milton Keynes
Pay: £16.50
Probation Period: 3 Months.
Required Self-Employment.
Responsibilities
- PHYSICAL LOADING OF ALL ORDERS IS REQUIRED – sometimes up to 50 boxes weighing up to 15 kg each.
- Delivering orders in the London / Birmingham / Coventry / Derby / Swindon / Bristol areas.
- Inventory management of stock held in the vehicle.
- Using a laptop to update records of products that are collected and delivered.
- Close cooperation with the Operations Department.
- Training will be provided to the right candidate.
- Work is 2–4 days per week only (approximately 20–40 hours). This role is ideal for someone who is already working, for example delivering food or other products, or who is looking for an additional source of income.

Duties
- Safely operate a van to transport goods to various locations within designated routes
- Load and unload packages, often involving heavy lifting
- Plan your own routes around Birmingham, London and Bristol
- Communicate clearly with dispatchers, customers, and team members to confirm deliveries and resolve issues promptly
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety standards are met and report any maintenance needs
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, receipts, and documentation of all deliveries made
- Adhere to traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies at all times
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a delivery driver or in commercial driving is preferred
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience with van driving is ideal
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when handling packages or equipment
- Strong communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members
- Knowledge of local routes and driving nationally using navigation tools preferable
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to providing excellent customer service
