Overview
We are seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods efficiently and safely to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries. Duties
- Safely operate company vans, in compliance with road safety regulations
- Load and unload goods, often involving heavy lifting, with care and attention to safety procedures
- Ensure accurate delivery of products to clients or designated locations
- Communicate effectively with myself and managers at the depo
- Maintain the cleanliness and good condition of the vehicle
- Complete all necessary documentation accurately, all done on a scanner
- Follow health and safety protocols at all times during deliveries
Requirements
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role within logistics or warehouse environments
- Valid driver’s licence appropriate for the vehicle type (e.g., <PERSON> driver licence)
- Experience with commercial driving and knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations
- Ability to perform some lifting when required, demonstrating physical fitness
- Strong communication skills to interact professionally with myself and team members
- Organised with excellent time management skills to meet delivery schedules
- A clean driving record and the ability to pass background checks are mandatory
