We are looking to hire a part time administration/bookkeeping assistant to assist our main Accountant at Meditech Endoscopy Ltd. We are a global product development company that innovates, manufactures and distributes a range of endoscopy consumable products worldwide.

Our flagship product, the ProTech endoscope tip protector, is distributed globally through a distribution agreement across EMEA, the USA, and Australia & New Zealand.
We are a small and friendly team, and we would like to meet anyone who has previous administration experience in the healthcare sector and ideally some bookkeeping experience. The ideal candidate must be professional, eager to show off their office management skills and ready to learn. Proven proficiency in all Microsoft packages including Excel. Accounting software package usage like Sage/Xero advantageous. The candidate will need a high attention to detail with the ability to manage time efficiently & strong self-management skills to keep financial deadlines on track.

Reporting directly to your mentor and the Manging Director duties will include:
- Office management including maintaining a tidy office environment, office supplier management & clerical support to the MD
- General bookkeeping duties including reconciling supplier statements, debtor management, credit card statement reconciliation, inputting supplier invoices & checking PO’s
- Taking ownership of our WIP
- Maintain organised digital & physical filing systems for contracts, receipts, invoices etc
- Daily inbox management of shared accounting inbox
- Checking cashflow, managing bank accounts & weekly payment run
- Adhoc admin tasks as required
- Utilise accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero to update financial records accurately
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth financial operations and data accuracy
Skills
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero is highly desirable
- Experience with accounts payable procedures and basic bookkeeping principles
- Strong organisational skills with an eye for detail
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a part-time capacity
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel)
- Prior experience in an administrative role. Bookkeeping experience would be advantageous but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
