Job Summary
Today’s children may be the first generation to have a shorter life expectancy than their parents. H2Go Pools wants to change that.
We know active children do better - and that the first ten years of a child’s life provide a critical window for creating a lifelong commitment to physical activity. We are now taking that mission into the water.
Swim:ED is our mobile, on-site swimming programme that brings a fully equipped pool directly to primary school sites across Somerset. No transport. No lost learning time. No barriers. Just children learning to swim, safely, in their own school environment.
We are building a team to launch and grow this programme - and this role sits at the heart of it.
Job Overview
This is a permanent, term time role based across primary school sites in Somerset. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality curriculum swimming, managing pool plant operations, and ensuring every session meets the highest standards of safety and quality.
The role also includes assisting with the build, breakdown and transport of the Swim:ED pool between sites. Some of this activity may fall during half term periods and is factored into your contracted hours.
General working hours are between 8:30am and 3:30pm term time, though as a salaried role there is an expectation of flexibility to ensure pool operations and safety requirements are met. This may occasionally include activity outside of term time in relation to pool build and transport.
Safeguarding Statement
H2Go Pools Ltd believes that it is always unacceptable for a child, young person or adult to experience abuse of any kind. We recognise our responsibility to safeguard and promote the welfare of all children, young people and adults through a commitment to practice which protects them.
