Duties
- Welcome guests warmly and take their drink orders accurately.
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes and presentation guidelines.
- Ensure all drinks are served promptly while maintaining high quality standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and equipment.
- Check identification to verify legal drinking age and adhere to responsible serving policies.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and operate the point-of-sale system efficiently.
- Restock bar supplies as needed and assist with inventory management.
- Uphold food safety standards and ensure compliance with health regulations at all times.
- Engage with guests to create a memorable experience, fostering customer loyalty.
Skills
- Experience in hospitality or as a bartender is essential; cocktail/barista training will be provided.
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service.
- Excellent serving skills with a friendly, approachable demeanour.
- Good organisational skills to manage multiple orders efficiently during busy periods.
- Basic maths skills for handling payments accurately.
- Effective time management to ensure prompt service even during peak hours.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining professionalism and composure.
