We are looking for a Level 3 qualified technician with solid hands-on Volkswagen Group experience to join our Birmingham workshop. You will work across VW, Audi, SEAT, Skoda, CUPRA, Bentley, Lamborghini and Porsche vehicles, from routine servicing through to repairs, alongside our master technicians. This is a role for someone who wants to specialise, with manufacturer-level tooling, factory diagnosis software's and the support to develop towards master technician level.
Key responsibilities
Carry out major, interim and long-life flexible servicing to manufacturer schedules. Complete mechanical repairs including brakes, clutches, suspension and drivetrain work. Assist with cambelt, timing chain and gearbox work. Use ODIS, PIWIS 4, ISTA and VCDS for fault reading, service resets and diagnostics. Carry out vehicle health checks, reporting advisories accurately. Keep clear job cards and maintain a tidy, safe working bay. Each Technician has their own ramp area & tool benches, desktop computer and laptop for diagnosis.
Essential requirements
Level 3 light vehicle maintenance and repair (IMI, NVQ or City and Guilds). Hands-on VW Group workshop experience. Confident on petrol, diesel & Hybrid/Electric servicing and repair. Own set of hand tools, applicants are welcome to bring their own toolbox to our workshop. Full UK driving licence. A genuine passion for VW Group vehicles.
Nice to have
ODIS, VCDS or other diagnosis software experience. Large tool collection which is essential for any Specialist Technician. IMI Level 2/3 EV and hybrid. Vw-Group, Porsche, SEAT, Skoda, CUPRA, Bentley, Lamborghini experience.

Pay: £36,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
