About Us
Hounds Road Dental Practice is a friendly, multi-clinician dental practice in Chipping Sodbury offering both NHS and private treatment to our local community. We're looking for a warm, organised, and reliable Dental Receptionist to join our team and be the first point of contact for our patients.
The Role
As our Dental Receptionist, you'll be at the heart of the practice, ensuring every patient has a positive experience from the moment they contact us to the moment they leave.
Key responsibilities:
- Welcoming patients and visitors to the practice
- Answering the telephone and managing enquiries
- Booking, rescheduling, and confirming appointments
- Managing patient records and ensuring data is kept accurate and up to date
- Processing payments and handling NHS and private billing
- Liaising with clinicians to keep the day running smoothly
- Supporting with general administrative tasks as needed
What We're Looking For
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly, professional manner
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Confident using computer systems (dental practice management software experience is a plus, but not essential — full training provided)
- Ability to stay calm and helpful under pressure
- A team player who takes pride in delivering great patient care
- Previous reception, customer service, or administrative experience is desirable
