Job Overview
We are seeking a vigilant, professional, and highly responsible Control Room Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations of our security control room. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring security systems, coordinating incident responses, supervising control room personnel, and ensuring the safety and security of our premises.

Key Responsibilities
- Continuously monitor CCTV surveillance systems, alarms, and other security equipment to identify potential security threats, breaches, or irregular activities.
- Coordinate and supervise the activities of security personnel, ensuring timely and effective responses to incidents.
- Maintain accurate and detailed incident reports, logs, and operational records.
- Conduct routine inspections and functionality checks of all security and communication systems, reporting faults promptly.
- Liaise with emergency services, contractors, and relevant authorities during incidents and emergencies.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and support to control room staff, promoting a professional, proactive, and alert working environment.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, security procedures, and health and safety regulations.
- Escalate serious incidents appropriately and support investigations when required.
- Assist in developing and improving control room procedures and operational practices.
Skills and Experience
Essential
- Experience in security operations, surveillance, control room environments, or a related field.
- Strong observation and analytical skills with the ability to identify and respond to potential risks.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Competent report writing skills with the ability to produce clear, accurate, and concise documentation.
- Ability to remain calm and make effective decisions under pressure.
- Good organisational and time-management skills.
- Previous supervisory or team leadership experience.
- Knowledge of CCTV systems, access control systems, alarms, and communication equipment.
- First Aid certification or knowledge of emergency response procedures.
- Experience working with incident management and security reporting systems.

Working Hours
- 40 hours per week, worked across 5 days.

Pay: £15.02 per hour
