Job Description – Bar Staff
You need to be 18 years old plus to apply for this job as you will be required to serve alcohol.
Den Engel is a successful Belgian Beer Bar based in the centre of Leek which prides itself on it’s friendly and welcoming atmosphere, great customer service and high standards. We are looking for permanent staff members who would be eager to learn and become knowlegeable in the extensive range of beers we have.
Applicants need to be friendly, hardworking and reliable people to join the Den Engel bar team.
Candidates will need to be available to work at evenings & weekends, and we’d prefer candidates to have experience of bar or restaurant work.
Applicants must be 18+ and have the right to work in the UK.
Various part time shifts are available for and immediate start
Responsibilities:
- Greeting & serving guests
- Taking payments and proper use of the till system for both food and drink orders
- Setting up the bar for the days service
- Supporting the opening and closing the bar to a high standard
- Collecting glasses, clearing tables and general cleaning duties
- Maintaining a clean & hygienic bar and venue & adhering to company standards
- Building a full knowledge of our range of drinks
Requirements:
- Bar / hospitality experience
- Be hard working, motivated, polite & most importantly a friendly individual
- Be reliable and punctual
- Be organised and able to multi task
- Have a strong work ethic
Job Types: Part-time
Part-time hours: 10-20 per week
