Job description:
Apidura is looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Technical Repair Specialist to join its team. Our Repair program is a huge part of what we do here, giving life and purpose back to packs that would otherwise be discarded. This position reports to the Customer Experience Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Own the day-to-day management & triage of repairs channel.
- Carry out routine repair on all Apidura packs for customers and Revive Program.
- Monitoring, analysing, and improving the repairs processes where possible.
- Work with the product team to provide visibility on real world issues and improve repair techniques.
- Track and report on common repair failure themes to Customer Experience Team.
Experience:
We are looking for individuals with a background in repair or textiles, or who are passionate about cycling/product design and look for a part-time role that helps them gain experience within the outdoor industry.
- Confident in using sewing machines of different sizes.
- Evidence of working in a textiles or design industries is a bonus.
- Ability to work independently.
- An interest in repair and sustainability.
