Job Summary
We are currently expanding the team at Dr BK Clinic and IVARA Wellness, particularly within the longevity, wellness and IV infusion therapy side of the business
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical Prescribing Nurse to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing patients, prescribing appropriate treatments, and providing comprehensive patient care within a supportive and professional environment. Duties
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine health status and treatment needs
- Prescribe suitable treatments based on clinical evaluations and current medical guidelines
- Administer medications safely and monitor patient responses post-administration
- Provide personalised health advice and education to optimise patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with legal and organisational standards
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to develop and review treatment plans
- Ensure adherence to all health and safety protocols, including infection control procedures
- Stay updated with the latest developments in prescribing practices and healthcare regulations
Requirements
- Registered Nurse with valid registration recognised in the UK
- Proven experience in patient care, ideally within a clinical or wellness environment
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology
- Competence in medication administration, IV therapy
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and team members
- Ability to make informed clinical decisions swiftly and confidently
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to professional standards
- Flexibility to work within scheduled shifts, including occasional evenings or weekends if required

Pay: From £28.00 per hour
Education:
- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
Experience:
- Nursing: 2 years (required)
Licence/Certification:
- NMC pin with Prescriber licence (required)
