Working Brickwork Supervisor / Restoration Bricklayers – Sheffield
Subcontract (CIS) – Immediate Start
Pay: £220–£300 per day depending on experience and role
Higher rates considered for exceptional working supervisors
LCC Restorations Ltd require experienced brickwork restoration operatives for a major refurbishment project in Sheffield.
This is not high-volume new-build bricklaying. The work involves careful alteration and reinstatement of existing masonry, so we are looking for skilled tradespeople who take pride in quality workmanship.
We are looking for both:
Working Brickwork Supervisor
An experienced tradesperson who can remain hands-on while helping manage a small team.
Responsibilities may include:
- organising daily works and operatives
- reading drawings and installation details
- setting out works
- checking quality and workmanship
- liaising with site management
- completing basic QA checks/photos
- working on the tools as required
Experienced Bricklayers / Restoration Operatives
Works include:
- enlarging existing brick panel openings
- cutting and adapting existing masonry
- making good jambs and reveals
- rebuilding small brick panels using reclaimed bricks
- brick repairs and replacement
- colour matched pointing
- installing masonry restraints
- installing channel windposts (training/guidance provided if required)
Applicants should have:
- strong brickwork skills
- experience working on existing buildings/refurbishments
- ability to produce neat, accurate work
- good problem-solving ability
- CSCS card
- own hand tools
Experience with restoration, façade repairs, conservation, mills, schools, apartment conversions or similar refurbishment projects would be beneficial.
Sheffield-based applicants preferred.
