ANZUK Education is seeking an experienced Part Time Computer Science Teacher for a highly regarded independent school in Walsall. This exciting Part Time Computer Science Teacher opportunity is available for two days per week (Tuesdays and Wednesdays) from September through to May. The successful Part Time Computer Science Teacher will be responsible for teaching Computer Science across Years 7–11, delivering engaging lessons that inspire students to develop their digital skills, computational thinking, and enthusiasm for technology. Key Responsibilities of a Part Time Computer Science Teacher:
- Deliver high-quality Computer Science lessons to students in Years 7–11
- Plan, prepare, and assess learning in line with curriculum requirementsPromote student engagement, achievement, and a positive attitude towards technology
- Differentiate learning to meet the needs of individual studentsMonitor student progress and provide constructive feedback
- Maintain high expectations for behaviour, achievement, and attendanceWork collaboratively with colleagues to support departmental and whole-school objectives
- Contribute to a culture of academic excellence and student developmentUphold safeguarding, confidentiality and health & safety procedures at all times
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Hold QTS, QTLS, or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
- Have experience teaching Computer Science within a secondary school settingHave experience teaching Computer Science across Key Stages 3 and 4 (Years 7–11)
- Be available to work every Tuesday and Wednesday from September until May
- Demonstrate excellent classroom management and communication skills
- Be passionate about delivering engaging and inspiring lessons
- Be committed to achieving high standards of teaching and learning
- Hold an enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to apply)
