Hours: Full-time – 36 hours per week
Shifts: Flexible day or night shifts
Salary:
- Care Assistant: £12.75 per hour
- Senior Care Assistant: £13.60 per hour
About the Roles
We are currently recruiting Care Assistants and Senior Care Assistants to join a caring and supportive team in Ely, CB7.

Care Assistant – Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality personal care and support to residents.
- Assist with washing, dressing, toileting and other daily activities.
- Support residents with meals, hydration and mobility.
- Follow individual care plans and maintain accurate care records.
- Monitor residents' wellbeing and report any changes to senior staff.
- Encourage residents to remain active, independent and socially engaged.
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Work closely with nurses and other members of the care team.
- Maintain a safe, clean and comfortable environment.
- Follow safeguarding, health & safety and infection-control procedures.
Senior Care Assistant – Key Responsibilities
In addition to the above, the Senior Care Assistant will:
- Lead and supervise care staff during shifts.
- Support the delivery and review of individual care plans.
- Coordinate care activities and ensure residents' needs are met.
- Support medication administration and accurate record keeping, where appropriately trained.
- Monitor residents' health and wellbeing and escalate concerns appropriately.
- Liaise with nurses, families and other healthcare professionals.
- Support and mentor Care Assistants and new team members.
- Promote excellent standards of care and professional practice.
- Assist with managing the shift and ensuring appropriate staffing and care delivery.
- Support compliance with CQC standards, safeguarding requirements and company policies.

Previous care experience is desirable. For Senior Care Assistant positions, previous experience in a senior care role and the ability to supervise a team are preferred.
