The Role
We are seeking an experienced and qualified Chartered Certified Accountant (ACCA) to join our
growing team. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing the company's
financial operations, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, supporting strategic
decision-making, and helping drive the financial success of the business.

Desirable
- Experience within logistics, technology, recycling, ITAD, or environmental sectors.
- Knowledge of sustainability reporting and ESG principles.
- Experience with ERP and inventory management systems.
- Previous experience in a growing SME environment.Key Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports.
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning.
- Monitor financial performance and provide analysis to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with HMRC, Companies House, and other regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and submit VAT returns, Corporation Tax information, and other statutory filings.
- Manage payroll oversight and pension compliance.
- Lead year-end audits and liaise with external auditors and accountants.
- Develop and improve financial controls, processes, and reporting systems.
- Provide strategic financial advice to support business growth and investment decisions.
- Monitor profitability across business divisions and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Support funding applications, grant opportunities, and financial planning initiatives.
- Ensure adherence to internal policies and external compliance requirements.
Skills & Experience Required
Essential
- ACCA qualified (or equivalent Chartered Accountant qualification).
- Experience preparing management and statutory accounts.
- Advanced proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present financial information clearly.
- High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
Desirable
- Experience within manufacturing, logistics, technology, recycling, ITAD, or environmental sectors.
- Knowledge of sustainability reporting and ESG principles.
- Experience with ERP and inventory management systems.
