Bird n Blossom is a new, independent small coffee shop, with a strong focus on quality coffee, iced and cold coffees, and creating a warm and welcoming experience for our customers.
We are looking for experienced baristas to join us as we open our new shop.
About the role
This is a hands-on role within a small team, so we are looking for someone who is confident, professional and able to work independently.
Previous barista experience is essential. You should be confident using a commercial coffee machine and preparing a range of coffee-based drinks, including hot and cold coffees.
Because we are a small independent business, flexibility is very important. We need team members who are able to work a flexible rota and help cover shifts when required, including holiday periods and staff absences.
You may also be required to open and close the shop independently, so reliability and responsibility are essential.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has previous professional barista experience
- Is confident preparing hot and cold coffee drinks
- Can work independently without constant supervision
- Is professional, reliable and well presented
- Has excellent customer service skills
- Is flexible with working days and hours
- Can help cover holidays and staff absences
- Is comfortable opening and closing the shop when required
- Takes pride in their work and the presentation of the café
- Wants to be part of a new, small independent business

Our opening hours are Monday–Friday 8am–4pm and Saturday 9am–2pm.
We are looking for people who can be genuinely flexible with their availability, as this will be important within our small team.
Pay: £12.71 per hour
Expected hours: 16.0 – 25.0 per week
