We are looking for an experienced Receptionist to be the face of our Private Bank offices in Mayfair and deliver a first-class front-of-house experience for clients and colleagues. This is a varied, fast-paced role covering client welcome, meeting room coordination, and switchboard support—ideal for someone who’s professional, organised, and enjoys making things run smoothly.
Key responsibilities

Provide a first-class reception service to clients and stakeholders at the PBUK Mayfair offices.

Meet and greet clients, notify hosts of arrivals, and escort visitors to the appropriate meeting room within the client suite.

Manage a high volume of meeting room bookings via the reception inbox, ensuring details are accurate (including refreshments/lunches) and coordinating with catering, including last-minute changes.

Maintain presentation standards across client areas and meeting rooms, escalating issues to cleaning and ensuring branded stationery (pens/notepads) is well stocked.

Support ad-hoc requests (e.g., Wi-Fi access, system use, printing) and liaise with IT/AV teams to resolve requirements promptly.

Provide switchboard coverage (ground floor), answering, screening, and transferring calls to the correct colleagues efficiently.
Key skills / requirements

Experienced front-office Receptionist with friendly, professional manner with a strong focus on client service and attention to detail.

Experienced in communicating with senior stakeholders, bank executives and UHNW & HNW clientele at the highest level.

Highly organised, able to manage competing priorities and a busy inbox in a fast-paced environment.

Proactive attitude, with a willingness to be flexible and support wider office needs.

Experienced in using office systems and technology (e.g., room booking tools, printing, Wi-Fi access processes) and coordinating with IT/AV.

Able to work rotational shifts between 08:00–18:00, based on a 35-hour week.
