Are you an experienced landscaper who takes pride in creating stunning outdoor spaces? We’re looking for a motivated, hands-on Landscape Team Leader to join our award-winning garden design and landscaping team.
This is a full-time, permanent role, perfect for someone who thrives outdoors, enjoys leading a team, and wants to deliver high-quality projects across Ilkley, Skipton, and the surrounding area.
About the Role
As Landscape Team Leader, you’ll oversee the construction and installation of bespoke landscaping projects from start to finish. This is a hands-on role: you’ll work alongside your team, ensuring each project runs smoothly, safely, and to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage on-site landscaping projects
- Build hardscapes: patios, retaining walls, pathways
- Install soft landscaping: turfing, planting, and trees
- Operate machinery such as excavators and dumpers
- Coordinate deliveries, tools, and materials
- Motivate, support, and manage staff daily
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised site
- Communicate with clients to ensure their expectations are met
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in landscaping
- Experience managing a team and running a site
- Ability to read and follow technical drawings and plans
- Full UK driving licence and own transport
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in all weather
- Knowledge of health & safety regulations and PPE standards
