Acting Manager/Assistant Manager position available at our leisure complex at Clayton Holiday Park, St Andrews a 5 star facility on a busy holiday park. You will be required to ensure high levels of customer engagement and experience while maintaining a safe and secure environment. The facility includes a swimming pool, spa pool, gym, changing rooms, plant room and café.
40 hours per week across a 5 day week (early mornings, evenings and inc weekends) plus additional hours covering shifts etc.
Your key responsibilities will include:
· Ensuring the safety of customers and team members and security of equipment, chemicals, plant room and pools.
· Maintaining high standards of customer service and team member effectiveness through an excellent induction plan and assisting with the ongoing training of team members.
· Ensuring the good working order of all pool and plant equipment and ensure that all procedures are followed in line with current regulations
· Preparing and completing weekly staff rotas and manage staff
· Opening and Closing the facilities on site, day to day club management
· Reception duties, daily cashing up and stock handling
· Ensuring the cleanliness standards of the poolside, changing rooms and cafe area are monitored and exceed customer expectations.
The successful Person will ideally:
· Have previous experience of working within a Leisure Club facility.
. Hold a Pool Plant Operators Certification
. Hold a First Aid/First Responder Certification
