Summary
We are seeking a Kitchen Assistant to join our small, welcoming team in the GB. This role is vital in supporting our daily operations, ensuring our kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently, helping us deliver delightful treats to our customers.
Responsibilities
- Assist in food and pastry preparation to ensure high-quality products.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area.
- Support the team during busy periods with meal preparation.
- Follow food safety and hygiene standards diligently.
- Help with stock management and ingredient storage.
- Ensure all kitchen equipment is properly used and maintained.
- Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent customer service.
- Support trade deliveries as needed.
- Qualifications
- Prior experience in catering, cooking, or a restaurant environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety standards.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills and team spirit.
- Basic culinary skills and familiarity with kitchen equipment.
- Enthusiasm for baking and pastry arts is a plus.
